Peter MacIntosh, CFP

Senior Financial Advisor

Peter made his start in the financial industry in 1989, working with a Vancouver Chartered Accountants’ firm.  He joined the family financial planning firm in 1992 so that he could offer his clients high quality, personalized financial advice.  Peter also serves as President of MacIntosh Financial Group Ltd.

Peter is a Certified Financial Planner so you can be assured that he takes the big-picture approach to helping his clients meet their life goals. He earned the Certified Financial Planner designation after completing the course of studies offered through the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning and fulfilling the stringent practical requirements. Part of holding this designation, requires planners to obtain continuing education on an annual basis so they remain informed on current planning strategies and financial trends.

The Financial Planners Standards Council has laid out a professional Code of Ethics which Peter supports and adheres to.  He also is a member in good standing of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners (CIFPs) and Advocis - the Financial Advisors Association of Canada.

Peter shares his time between our Vancouver office and our Gibsons office but can be reached by phone in either office through our main Vancouver phone line.

Peter and his wife Jacquie have been married for over 25 years.  They have four wonderful children and one son-in-law and make their home in Gibsons, BC on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
